The 9th and 10th of May, ESN was represented by the Liaison Officer for Youth Affairs, Nathan Lusseau, and Liaison Officer for the European Youth Forum, Giulio Del Giudice, at the General Assembly of the European Youth Forum, where the Advisory Council on Youth for the mandate 2026-8 was elected. It’s with great joy that we communicate that our Liaison Officer for Youth Affairs, Nathan Lusseau, got elected together with the 19 representatives from INGYOs and NYCs that will represent youth and member organisations from the YFJ in the AC

You can find the elected AC member here in the YFJ article.

During the assembly, ESN presented a motion on the future of Erasmus: The future is Erasmus: more funding for Erasmus+ cosigned by:

The motion got approved almost unanimously, and we deeply thank the organisation that supported it.

We also supported to design and cosigned the motion submitted by CNTM - National Youth Council of Moldova, RADA - Belarusian National Youth Council, NYCUkraine - National Youth Council of Ukraine on Non-EU European countries' inclusion in Erasmus+ and cosigned the motion submitted by YEE - Youth and Environment Europe: Be passionate about Eco-Emotions.

Here you can find the other motions approved.

Furthermore, we approved the Fòrum de la Joventut d’Andorra, which entered as an observer member, and Phiren Amenca and the European Youth Press as full members. Sadly, Nayora: the Azerbaijani Youth Council, got excluded by the Youth Forum for attending the World Youth Festival in Sochi last year, publishing pictures with Putin and not answering to the tentative contact of YFJ and procedures tried by the Secretariat, the Board, and the CBMA - Consultatory Body on Membership Application. The ISIC - International Student Identity Card was not approved as an associate member.
