"Simone is 24 years old and comes from Italy. He holds a binational bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Luiss University (Rome) and Sciences Po Bordeaux, and a Master’s in International Development and Public Policy from NOVA School of Business and Economics (Portugal). During his studies, he also worked as a student assistant at the Economics of Education Knowledge Centre at NOVA SBE. He joined the Erasmus Student Network in 2021 and held roles at the local, national, and international levels, including in the Education Office of ESN Italy and as a Policy Intern at the organisation’s headquarters. As President, he is responsible for the general coordination of the organisation, external relations, policy, and advocacy. His priorities include advancing the internationalisation of higher education by improving access to both learning mobility and full-degree opportunities, and promoting civic engagement through international experiences."

"Kaja is 28 years old and comes from Szczecin, Poland. With a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and a master’s degree in HR Management, she had the opportunity to experience two Erasmus+ student exchanges in Madrid and Prague. She joined her local ESN section in 2019 and has since been actively involved at the local, national, and international levels of the organisation. Previously, she led ESN Poland as President and administered the statutory procedures of ESN’s International General Assembly as General Assembly Chair. As the Vice President for Governance, Kaja coordinates the internal operating procedures of ESN, oversees the performance of its various support structures, provides support to the national organisations by ensuring their sustainability, and handles the matters of membership in the organisation."

"Anja is 29 years old and comes from Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. She has a bachelor's degree in Textile Chemistry from the University of Zagreb. Anja joined ESN in 2019 and has since been involved in supporting and improving volunteer engagement and development on local, national, and international levels of ESN through various positions and initiatives. As the Vice President for Development, Anja focuses on designing and implementing learning processes and competence development initiatives. She also oversees non-statutory events and manages network care and development. Additionally, Anja works on the recognition and validation of volunteer work. Her main goal is to create a supportive environment that helps volunteers grow personally and professionally, enabling them to positively impact the experience of international students during their mobility."

"Rui is 26 years old and comes from Penafiel, a city in northern Portugal. He has a bachelor's degree in Economics, and he's enrolled in a master's degree in Political Economy. He joined ESN in 2020 after his mobility period in Bucharest, Romania, assuming the role of Treasurer of ESN Porto for one year and ESN Portugal for two years. As Treasurer, he is responsible for managing the organisation's financial resources and developing and managing ESN's products and services, such as the ESNcard. His main priority is the development of services and partnerships to better support international students."

"Marco was born 28 years ago in Treviglio, a small village between Milan and Bergamo. He has a bachelor's in IT Engineering and a Master's in Computer Science and Engineering, which he obtained by graduating from Politecnico di Milano with a final dissertation on the environmental sustainability of blockchains. After a semester spent in Lisbon, where he participated in an Erasmus+ programme followed by a funded abroad thesis project in cooperation with Instituto Superior Tecnico de Lisboa, he joined ESN in 2021. He was previously Webmaster and then Local Representative of his section for two years, before being the NR of ESN Italy for one and a half years. Before embarking on this adventure as the Web Project Administrator, he worked as a Data Engineer in a consultancy company. As WPA, he is responsible for managing the IT infrastructure, the design of the digital ecosystem of ESN and all our websites. Recognising the strategic role of digitalisation, Marco is also responsible for pushing the digital transformation of ESN and the Erasmus+ projects. His main goals include a smooth and user-friendly digital experience for mobility and making participation in mobility as easy as the click of a button."

International Board 2025/2026
The International Board of Erasmus Student Network consists of five elected board members for a mandate of one year. The board members cover the following positions: President, Vice President for Governance, Vice President for Development, Treasurer, and Web Project Administrator.
