Erasmus Student Network is the largest student organisation in Europe, founded in 1989 to support and develop student exchange programmes. ESN is present with over 500 sections in 1000+ Higher Education Institutions in more than 40 countries, with 15,000 volunteers offering their services to 350,000 international students, under the principle of Students Helping Students.

ESN works for the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing student exchanges on different levels, as well as providing an intercultural experience to those students who cannot access a period abroad ('internationalisation at home').

Vision
By 2031, the Erasmus Student Network will be the leading organisation supporting international mobility, providing space for competence development and student engagement to three million members of the Erasmus Generation, empowering them to become change-makers in society.

Mission
