ESNSurvey 2007: Generation Mobility
Every year ESN launches a survey that explores the current issues connected to academic and non-academic mobility. This is one of the biggest and most successful projects of ESN International - last year more than 12000 students responded to the online survey. Through the gathered opinions of students, ESN gets a better insight in to the issues and is able to represent the students' real needs.
On the 16th of June, the 2007 edition of survey is launched. The main topic of the survey is "Generation Mobility".
The aim is to understand if the experinece of studying abroad has a deep impact on the way of thinking of students in many important topics like involvement in civic society and politics, religious belief, Europe and European Integration, use of new technologies...
What concerns ESN this year, besides the quality of ESN work, is the impact of the experience of studying abroad on the following topics:
- Active citizenship
- Politics
- Europe and European integration
- Religious belief
- Use of new technologies
For universities
If you want to join this ESN project, the only thing you are asked to do is to forward our e-mail (ask for it at secretariat@20erasmus.eu) to your present exchange students and, if possible, to put the information about survey on your university website.
All the students who fully complete the questionnaire, will have a chance to win one of 5 travel vouchers for travel anywhere in Europe.
After the surveys are collected, we will provide every university that requests with the survey results exclusively concerning your university. By this action you will be able to have insight in your work and eventually show the positive results to any interested third party.
For National Agencies and educational associations
Become a supporter of the project
If your organisation or National Agency wants to become a supporter of the project, you are asked to:
- express your willingness to participate in the project to us at secretariat@20erasmus.eu
- forward the email about survey to your members and to all students you are in contact with
- put the information about the project on your website and in your newsletter if you have one.
To thank you for the support, we will put your logo in the section for ESN Survey Supporters on the ESN website as well as mention you in the printed booklet. Additionally, you will receive a free copy of the printed booklet with the report.
