Ibiza project

ESN Spain is organizing an amazing ESN Ibiza event that will rock your socks off!
In 2009, around 2000 exchange students will enjoy this annual event, where 12 Spanish ESN sections are involved. Four crazy nights and five amazing days. For the second time, ESN Spain is proud to invite 100 ESNers from all around Europe to enjoy such a crazy trip with our ERASMUS students!
There will be recommended activities for every day (and every night), so you will always have something interesting to do! This is a perfect opportunity to get to know the island of Ibiza, to party with ESNers and ERASMUS students and to get a nice tan! We will visit the Formentera island, sunbathe at different beaches, have a water party, a club party ,a foam party and many more! Sounds amazing?
The event will take place form 13th to 17th of May 2009, in Ibiza. We hope to see you there!

ESN Sea Battle

ESN Sweden, ESN Finland and ESN Estonia organize together a huge event called ESN Sea Battle. In a triangular cruise between Tallinn, Helsinki and Stockholm, exchange students in these three countries get the chance to party during the night and see beautiful Baltic Sea cities during the day. In November 2008, more than 1600 exchange students – and a few international ESN members – joined the party. We hope that it will be even more in 2009!

National Meeting of Erasmus Students - Toruń, Poland

Between the 11th and the 13th of April, 2008 ESN UMK Toruń organized a special event for all Erasmus Students who were staying in Poland for their international exchange.
Almost 150 participants in the lovely gothic city of Toruń spent three days interacting, touring and learning.
The goal of the meeting was to show Erasmus Students culture and tradition of region of Toruń. During the first day, students from Turkey, Spain, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Belgium, Lithuania, Italy, Denmark, and Poland participated in a 'Treasure Hunt' around the city center. Later the students had the opportunity to spend time together and dine in a restaurant and attend the ‘National Party’ in the evening.
Saturday was a day with regional culture and traditions in Ethnographic Park in Sierpc. Students had the chance to listen to lectures about folk culture, national heritage, and polish transformations. We prepared a wide variety of attractions for the students to include: a visit to an old village, a museum tour, a chance to learn the art of making butter, carriage rides, a beautiful campfire, a barbecue party, and the chance to sing polish songs from songbooks made specifically for the occasion. In the evening we all came back to Toruń to spend time together at the party.
On Sunday morning there was a lecture discussing 'Intercultural dialogue'. Later that day the students were divided into three groups and spent time in the museum of gingerbread. They made their own cookies, ate lunch and then made traditional decorations and embroidery.
It was great time for everyone.
ESN Trento Local Survey 2008

In 2008, ESN Trento decided to create a local survey in order to investigate what Erasmus students 2007/2008 though about their experience with the local section, about the Univeristy of Trento and many other small things regarding everyday life. The project was really an experiment, with questions decided by local active members. The result was extremly intresting both for issues regarding all the fields ESN is involved in and for other kind of issues regarding the city and the university like for example lodging problems, night buses, etc. This work was appriciated very much by the local International Office, with which ESN Trento has a great relation.
