January: The beginning of a new year!

January in some respects is seen as a quiet month, as the exchange students and sections take somewhat of a break from their 'fun' lives and spend time studying and preparing for those exams which are the test of all that was learned (or not) in the first semester. But it is just like any other month for the Board with many tasks, deadlines and preparations to be done, albeit with a bit less travel. To read more about International Board click here.

Europe besides ESN

Key Data on Education in Europe

Education plays a fundamental role in society, and in each of our lives. A new report explains just how Europe is doing in terms of educating our young people - what's getting better, and what the challenges are. More people are staying in school for longer, and going to college. Teachers have more freedom in the classroom. But there is also a potential shortage of those teachers, and questions about the opportunities that are there once students graduate. Interested? Find out more here here.
