Holiday Greetings

From the last newsletter this year the international Office of ESN wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope that the holidays will be a time for you to rest and recharge, but also to find new motivation for the new year and all the exciting events and things that are waiting in 2012! SocialErasmus received
civil society prize

Erasmus Student Network received the first prize of the European Economic and Social Committees Civil Society prize during their plenary session in Brussels the 7th of December. The prize was awarded to ESN's flagship project SocialErasmus, a project allowing international students to integrate, learn and give an added value to their local communities. More than 50 project nominations were evaluated by the jury of the EESC awarding three projects – 1# SocialErasmus, Erasmus Student Network. Watch the video here or read more on esn.org

25th anniversary - logo competition

Year 2012 is the 25^th year of Erasmus programme and ESN wants to do something special. To strengthen the visibility of this year and the events we have decided to label activities in the name of the 25th anniversary. Hereby we are holding a design competition in the network where we encourage you to contribute with your idea! Just 3 days left!!! The winner of the competition will have a place at the AGM Granada in March 2012 covered by ESN. Read more on esn.org

What are you doing for socialerasmus?

The year of 2012 is coming up - this will be a very important one since its the 25th anniversary of the Erasmus Programme. To celebrate this the SocialErasmus project will be the flagship project of ESN and the SocialErasmus week will be a big celebration to honor this. Join our EMI Training Academy photo competition!

The EMI Training Academy is launching a photo competition open to youth from all countries! To participate, all you need to do it take a photo of something representing "the multicultural spirit of young generations" in your country and send it to us with a short comment. You should try to be relevant, original and artistic. All photos will be published on our web site and the two best photos will win a prize. Read more!

EMI Training Academy

The EMI Training Academy is a training course for students interested in EU affairs who want to broaden their knowledge of the EU and learn about the reality of working in Brussels, be it in the Institutions, lobbies or NGOs. It is a unique occasion to leave textbooks and classrooms and to meet professionals, visit the Institutions and discover Brussels.
