PRIME: Final Conference
Register now for the final PRIME conference!
The second edition of PRIME is almost concluded, the final conference of the PRIME project will take place in Brussels, from 13th to 15th November 2011. It will be a great chance to meet other people involved in PRIME on local, national and international level, to discuss the findings and talk about the future of Erasmus programme with the European Commission and other important stakeholders.

Youth Convention on Volunteering
From 7th to 11th September 2011, the European Parliament will host the biggest public event organised by the European Youth Forum in the frame of the European Year of Volunteering.
The target audiences of the event are young people, youth organisations, public institutions and the wider public.
The Convention will also be a flagship event for the EU-China Year of Youth and mark the 15th Anniversary of the European Youth Forum.

Volunteering makes your CV smile
The seminar will be held in Plettenberg, Germany from 29 October to 5 November 2011. Rural Youth Europe is co-operating with Westfälisch-Lippische Landjugend e.V. to bring participants together to explore the connection between volunteering and youth employment, particularly how volunteering can improve the employability of young people.

September: the cultural heritage month
Over the coming month, more than 20 million people are expected to take part in the European Heritage Days taking place every year during the month of September in 50 countries across Europe. This joint action of the European Commission and Council of Europe gives access to visitors to thousands of rarely opened sites and unique events.
The cultural events highlight local skills and traditions, architecture and works of art, but the broader aim is to promote mutual understanding among citizens.

- Summer University of the Council of Europe
Tania Berman, ESN President, attended the Summer University of the Council of Europe from the 22nd to 25th of August in Antwerpen. Presentations of the Council of Europe's aims, its structure, its different bodies - including the Advisory Council, that ESN is part of, were given to the participants - mostly representatives of Youth Ministries in different European countries. - CSO Consultation on the Draft Charter on the Rights and Responsibilities of Volunteers
The 19th of August Josefin Svensson attended the CSO Consultation on the Draft Charter on the Rights and Responsibilities of Volunteers at the Youth Fomrum office, where ESN actively took part in and contributed to the development of the charter. The charter will be discussed further during the Stakeholder Conference in Brussels in the beginning of September
