Section in the spotlight is back!

Section in the Spotlight is back from holidays! Did you forget about it? Each month we will choose and honour one ESN section for its active involvement and excellent work for international students, which could be used as best practice examples in the network.

How to participate? It is easy! You just need to fill in an application form, which is in the style of a motivation letter showing your ESN success story. If you want to show off your section to the whole network, visit Section in the Spotlight on esn.org and apply!

CoMeet in Prague

The first meeting of all the ESN International Committees has just ended. International Education, Network & Events, Finances, Communication and IT gathered together in Prague to discuss about common projects, interaction, cooperation and the work and structure of the committees themselves. The outcomes of the meeting will be presented at the next Council of National Representatives meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania, and represent the basis for the future of our Network.

IYNF Call for participants: Training InTouch

From 22nd to 28th November in Oostduinkerke (Belgium), International Young Naturefriends (IYNF) organizes a training called InTouch. The topic is: Project management for youth exchanges. During the training the participants can search for partners for their projects and they will get trained in grant writing. IYNF is looking for participants from: Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey and Poland. For more information read the complete call from IYNF

Future European Youth programme: Let us know what you think!

The European Commission has just launched an online public consultation on the development of the future European programme in the field of youth. Everybody is welcome to contribute!

The current European youth programme - "Youth in Action" - will run until the end of 2013. Reflections have been launched to start shaping its successor programme. In this context, an online public consultation has just been launched to collect views on how to best develop this future programme so as to ensure an adequate response to youth needs, challenges and expectations. The consultation is addressed to all citizens, associations, organisations, public authorities, policy-makers and other stakeholders interested in the development and design of the new programme. It will be open until 30 November 2010. Filling in the questionnaire will only take a few minutes.

  • EAIE Conference, Nantes
    From 14th to 18th September, Eva Ntovolou, Joachim Wyssling, Marco La Rosa and Daphne Scherer are representing ESN at the European Association for International Education (EAIE) conference. At the conference ESN will hold a workshop, three sessions and two poster sessions.
