On 15th July the new International Board starts its mandate! Evangelia Ntovolou (ESN Greece) is the new President, followed by Joachim Wyssling (ESN France) as Vice President, Damien Lamy-Preto (ESN France) as Treasurer, Marco La Rosa (ESN Italy/ESN Finland) as External Relations and Ourania Chantzopoulou (ESN Greece) as Web Project Administrator. Propose/hold workshops on Regional Platforms

As an ESN member you have the right to propose topics for the workshops of the Regional Platforms. If you are present at the event you can also hold one of them! Are you a specialist in one specific topic that others may find interesting? Do you have trainer/speaker/team facilitator skills? Write your ideas to the Vice President of ESN.

YOUth for you

Training Course for Global Youth Work

From 12th to 19th September, in Molina, Spain, the Training Course for Global Youth Work will take place. Over the course of seven days the participants will be trained in different skills and knowledge areas relevant to support them in successfully managing international projects, establishing partnerships and carrying out advocacy work on behalf of their organisations. English and French are the working languages. The deadline for applications is 20th July. Are you interested?

Students for Europe Congress Lisbon 2010

From 7th to 10th October, in Lisbon, Portugal the 16th International Students Congress "Students for Europe" will take place. The event has the patronage of José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission. During the meeting there will be workshops and speeches about the topic "Opportunity? Challenge? Risk? - It's up to E(U)!". The congresses bring together up to 120 students from all European countries to discuss European issues with notable representatives from economy, politics and society. Europe besides ESN

Derry, Maribor, Goes and Karlstad - four cities shortlisted for one title: European Youth Capital 2013

Four European cities: Derry (United Kingdom); Maribor (Slovenia), Goes (Netherlands) and Karlstad (Sweden). One title: European Youth Capital 2013 (EYC 2013).

Their outstanding applications have been selected amongst 11 applications of cities from all over Europe. After the first assessment, an exciting second phase of the selection of the European Youth Capital 2013 is starting! The award ceremony will take place during the YFJ General Assembly, on November 18-20.
