Publish your vacant Erasmus Placement and European Voluntary Service (EVS) positions on esn.org!

Share your open EVS and Erasmus Placement positions with the whole network and foster the network-wide mobility of ESN members and find the most suitable person for your section. The webpage of ESN will get a special page where offers from all over the network for EVS and Erasmus Placement positions will be collected. All members have access to it and the sections will have the possibiltiy to promote their offers. If you are interested or you want to publish your offer, please send it to vicepresident@esn.org. The page will be launched as soon as first offers have been received!

ExchangeAbility meeting

From 26^th - 31^st May 2010, ESN International organised a training in Antwerp, in the framework of ExchangeAbility. During the meeting in Antwerp, we welcomed about 35 young people from all over the Europe who came to learn more about the topic of disabilities and inclusion of students with disabilities, in order to raise awareness at their home universities and cities. ESN UAM - Viva Espana!

We are proud the present out Section in the Spotlight of June – it is ESN UAM from Madrid, Spain. We chose this time the section from the sunny Spain to show what the sections from the South West of Europe can offer to their exchange students. They are amazingly not only taking care of the international students, but also of their own 40 members. Find the whole story of ESN UAM.

Open Call for Section Guide project team!

ESN International is searching for the core team for the Section Guide project! In total 6 people will be elected to the core project team and from them the main coordinator. For applying a motivation letter containing your previous ESN experience should be sent until the 1^st of July to Veeli Oeselg at vicepresident@esn.org. YOUth for you

Born to be wild

This summer, International Young Naturefriends launched a brand new project, a new style of summer camp and youth exchange, where the participantcs will have the opportunity to explore ways to live in closer connection to the nature.

If you are between 18 and 30, coming from either Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Germany or Belgium, able to communicate in English and willing to go through this green adventure, don't hesitate and register through the IYNF website. The camp will take place from 10^th-18^th August 2010 in Czech Republic and the registration deadline is Thursday 10^th June 2010.

Mare Nostrum: Youth, Migration and Development, 25-30 July 2010

The Italian National Youth Forum is organizing, in cooperation with the European Youth Forum, The Council of Europe’s Directorate of Youth and Sport and the League of Arab States, the first Euro-Arab Youth Conference which will be held in Ragusa,Italy from 25^th-30^th of July 2010.

Aim of the conference is to promote the inter-cultural understanding between young people from the European and Arab Countries by promoting partnerships between youth organisations. Deadline for the applications is 11^thJune 2010.

Cyprus welcomes back Youth in Action programme

The European Commission has lifted the suspension of the programme in Cyprus. The National Agency will open again from the 1^st July 2010 deadline. Unfortunately the European Commission decided to suspend the National agency in Malta due to lack of guarantees of proper financial management.

Youth in Action monitoring survey

The European Commission launched a survey aimed at assessing the qualitative outcomes of Youth in Action projects on their participants and promoters.The results of this survey confirm, from the point of view of the beneficiaries themselves, the effectiveness of the Youth in Action Programme, as regards its two main objectives: offering young people opportunities to acquire new skills through non-formal learning and encouraging them to participate actively in society.
