Since last summer the start of a new era for the webprojects of ESN was launched with the release of Satellite 3, we have been working hard to update also other elements of the ESN webs. After installing the new server and launching the Helpcenter for Satellite, we are proud to announce the latest release, ESN.org!The aim is to make things more centralised, and the first step has hereby been set!
In the upcoming period we will keep updating ESN.org with more interaction, integration and usibility!

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the biggest event of ESN calendar - Annual General Meeting (AGM), which this year will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, on April 8th - 12th, 2010.The registration is open you can register at the website of AGM: www.agmistanbul.eu. To register you need an AGM code which your National Representative (country@esn.org - e.g. norway@esn.org etc.) can give you.

Training Course: Democratic Leadership and Management of Youth Organisations
The course is addressed to voluntary or employed staff of international non-governmental youth organisations, and other youth networks who are, or will be, actively involved in the running of youth structures, to develop their attitudes, improve their skills and receive additional information and knowledge in order to manage youth organisations (programme, units or boards) in a democratic, efficient and effective manner.All interested applicants should apply on-line here, completing the application form and attaching a support letter from their organisation.

Erasmus in figures: new statistical report
A statistical overview of mobility with the Erasmus programme has just been published, including detailed analysis of student and staff mobility, Erasmus Intensive Language Courses and Intensive Programmes in the academic year 2007/08. The report highlights the continuing growth of Erasmus student mobility. In 2007/08 almost 183 000 students from around 2 500 higher education institutions participated in the programme. In addition, 32 000 academic and other staff were mobile to teach and get training in another European country. Read the report.- Final PRIME conference
On Friday 22nd January 2010, ESN organised the final PRIME conference in Brussels. Results of the PRIME research were presented, representatives of the European Commission, of Universities and of students presented the their view on the problem of recognition in making Erasmus. During a panel discussion and presentations the future of mobility programmes in Europe was discussed and weather recognition is the decisive factor to go abroad. - INSIGHT WEEKEND!
The Insight Weekend for potential candidates for the International Board 2010 took place from 21st to 24th of January in Brussels. 10 participants from the Netherlands, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Greece, Turkey, Poland and Italy had the opportunity to get an insight of the real tasks and duties of a Board member, to find the right position for themselves and to meet their potential future colleagues. - National Boards Meeting Besancon
The 3rd national board meeting was held from 29th – 31 st of January in Besanscon. ESNers from 15 different countries participated in the event, which was aimed at more informationflow, best-practice sharing and some other topics. Hereby we want to thank the organisation for this wonderful event!
