Regional Platforms registration
Regional Platforms are coming closer! Choose among SEEP, SWEP, CEP, NEP and/or WEP, register and meet other ESN section members.CEP - will take place in the city of Brno from 15th - 18th October 2009. The registration starts on 17th August and will run in two rounds until the 13th September. The participation fee is 80 EUR in the first round and 90 EUR for the second round. All detail information as well as the registration form are available on the official website.
SWEP - from 22nd till 25th October in Teramo. You can register on website www.swep2009.eu where you can fill out the application form until 10th of September. The FEE is 80 EUR for ESNers and 85EUR for alumni.
NEP - from 5th - 8th November in Stockholm.
WEP - from 19th - 22nd November in Zurich.
SEEP - from 17th - 20th December in Ljubljana. The registration is open until 15th of September and the fee is 75EUR. Atfer that date the fee will be 85 EUR. More info on the official website.

As an ESN member you have a right to propose the topic of the workshops for the Regional Platform.If you are present at the event you can also hold one of them! Are you a specialist in one specific topic that others may find interesting? Do you have trainer/speaker/team facilitator skills?
Write your ideas to your National Representative.
Call for financial auditors
In order to secure transparency and credibility of ESN finances, the treasurer of ESN International calls for people willing to work as financial auditors. The job requires insight as well as understanding of finances and good practices in businesses. The auditor must be willing to travel in order to meet the treasurer.Contact Troels Christensen

European Culture Forum
The European Culture Forum, 29-30 September 2009 in Brussels, brings together participants from culture civil society, Member States and EU institutions to take stock of progress in implementing the European Agenda for Culture. Public consultation on mobility opportunities for young people
The European Commission has just launched a public consultation on the Green Paper on Promoting the Learning Mobility of Young People.
With this Green Paper, the Commission invites all citizens of the European Union, as well as organisations and other stakeholders to share their opinions and answer to several questions:

- Sections' Questionnaire 2009
The Sections' Questionnaire for this year will be online on the 25th of August. The information will be sent directly to all sections through the mailinglist. As every year, it is obligatory for all sections to fill it out. - Cultural Medley 2009
From 23rd till 27th of July Cultural Medley 2009 took place in the beautiful holiday town of Sile, next to the glorious city of Istanbul. 38 participants had a chance to see all the culture and history of Istanbul including attractions like Bosporus, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern while enjoying the untouched nature of Sile in 11 lakes and Sile's sandy beaches.

From the 30st July to the 5th August, 50 current and future volunteer youth leaders from 23 different ESN countries, active in the field of student mobility, gathered in Sofia to share best practices. The event was succesfully organised by the people of ESN Bulgaria. Thanks to the organisation!
- National Presidents' Meeting
From 4 to 6 September the second National Presidents’ Meeting will take place in Poznan, Poland. It will organised by 4 sections in Poznan. 40 ESNers will meet to share experience and make ESN even better. - CNR Novi Sad
The next Council of National Representatives (CNR) is taking place from 10-13 September in Novi Sad. National Representatives are present there to represent their countries. - EAIE Conference in Madrid
European Association for International Education annual meeting is going to take place in Madrid (Spain) 16th - 19th September. The representatives of many universities will be present there. If you would like us to discuss something with the International Office of your university, please contact our Vice-president Veeli Oeselg. - Bridging the Gap - Seminar on long-term youth exchanges
ESN, in collaboration with EEE-YFU and other exchange organisations, will organise a seminar called Bridging the Gap: the road to recognising long term youth exchanges. The seminar takes place from 13 to 21 September in Mollina, Spain and ESN will send 4 participants. - Birthday celebration in Ghent
Twenty years ago, erasmus students of the first generation put their heads together in Ghent and decided upon the formation of an international network to support international exchange. Now, it's time to evaluate, and just as importantly, to celebrate twenty years of existence and growth. Belgium welcomes you for 4 organized days of formal and informal fun.
