ESNtrain - Registration open!
Every section can now exclusively book their TWO guranteed places in the whole route of the ESNtrain!The deadline is 15th January 2009.
Afterwards, unused places can be reserved by the general public.

Propose/hold workshop on AGM Utrecht
As an ESN member you have a right to propose the topic of the workshops for the Annual General Meeting in Utrecht (in March 2009).If you are present at the event you can also hold one of them!
Are you a specialist in one specific topic that others may find quite interesting? Do you have trainer/speaker/team facilitator skills?

YOUth for you
YFJ info day on OMC on education
Education has its own open method of coordination, the so called Education and Training 2010 programme.This OMC is being revised at the moment creating an opportunity for young people to help shape the future of education in the EU.
To fully use this opportunity, the YJF organised Info Days on the OMC Education to inform the YFJ MO's, both international youth organisations and national youth councils, on how they can play a role in getting the opinion of young people in this process.
ESN was represented by its vice-president, Marketa Tokova.
Europe besides ESN
Slovakia joins the EURO!
The European Commission will closely monitor the changeover to the euro in Slovakia starting on 1 January 2009.News updates on the latest developments, based on surveys conducted by the Commission and the national authorities, will be available daily from 1 January to 16 January 2009.

- THE ARRIVAL OF THE NEW ESN SECRETARY
Before going for holidays the Board Members of ESN International choose a new ESN secretary from many outstanding applications.
Ana Silva from ESN Porto/Portugal will come to in Brussels work with us for half a year on 8th January 2009.
- BOARD MEETING - DECEMBER
During 15th and 16th December the last Board Meeting of the year 2008 took place. The Board Members were discussing mostly the feedback from the Council of National Delegates in Gdansk and the preparations for the Annual General Meeting in Utrecht. - AEGEE X'MAS PARTY
The ESN International Board composed of Matthias Fenner, Marketa Tokova and Magdalena Wawrzonkowska was honoured to represent our network during the Xmas Party organised by the AEGEE International Board in Atomium in Brussels. - COUNCIL OF NATIONAL DELEGATES
CND in Gdansk / Poland was the second CND in the history of ESN. From 4th to 8th December the delegates were encouraged to get to know new people, exchange common experiences among each other and conduct intense issue related discussions. NRs and NDs had also a chance to participate in the outstanding event hosting the Peace Nobel Prize winners. - ALUMNI OF ESN MEETING
Mid-October, the third meeting of the Alumni of ESN took place in the beautiful city of Prague. The participants had lots of fun and made some important decisions. To find out more and/or join the ESN Alumni network!
