4. ESNLiveHere I am in my Bašcaršija apartment, looking out my window, and asking myself one very simple question, that every Sarajevo girl asks herself at least once a week, „what is the greatest event that Sarajevo will host this year?“. It is SEEP (South Eastern European Platform) in Sarajevo , October 10-13 th 2008. I just can't imagine someone who wouldn't want to be a part of such an event. So exciting, 80 people, from Turkey, Italy, Greece, FYR of Macedonia, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Malta, Romania and Bosnia&Herzegovina, cultural diversity, fun, adventure, so many new things, and all that happening in one and only, the most unique place on Earth, Sarajevo! I wish that someone is reading my mind right now so I could say to them, SEE(P) YOU THERE!
5. What's going on in Europe besides ESN?How much do you know about the future of European Union? Have you ever read the Treaty of Lisbon? Do you know what are the weak and strong points of it? Learn more about it! The Treaty of Lisbon was signed by the Heads of State or Government of the 27 Member States on 13 December 2007 in Lisbon and would be considered in all member states by the end of 2008, in time for the 2009 European elections. If ratified, the Treaty of Lisbon would streamline the EU works and also make crucial changes for the EU citizens. Learn more and read the Treaty of Lisbon.
