Board Recruitment Weekend


In the last weekend of January the International Board organised a special recruitment weekend in Brussels for ESNers interested in running for the Board positions 2009/2010.

Seven guests from different parts of Europe (Estonia, Denmark, Italy, Netherlands, Hungary, Sweeden, UK) have experienced a knowledge transfer with Board members and have been present at a special Board Meeting.

Training for Young NGO activists in Cracow

Between the 21st and 29th of March 2009, you can be one of 20 participants from all over Europe that will meet in Cracow at PRES2, a one-week training course on advanced public relations for youth NGOs and international projects.

Organised by the European Student's Forum AEGEE in cooperation with the European Youth Press, the course targets potential and present NGOs activists with some PR knowledge and eager to work actively on European level.

  • BOARD MEETING
    The Board of ESN International met on the 22nd and 23rd of January in Brussels. The meeting was focused on the following topics: CNR Skopje, AGM 2009 and the Future of ESN, alongside the traditional points such as the ESNSurvey, section benefits and web projects.
  • LLP INFO-DAY
    The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency organised Infodays to present the centralized actions of the Lifelong Learning Programme for which it is responsible under the general call for proposals 2009. The event took place on the 16th of January, ESN was represented by Marketa Tokova and Magdalena Wawrzonkowska.
  • GERMAN NP
    The German sections met together from the 16th to the 18th of January in Braunschweig. The topics discussed included statute changes and elections of the new German National Board, corporate identity, workshops, and the AGM. Upon kind invitation ESN International was represented by Matthias Fenner.
  • BOARD MEETING FEBRUARY
    The meeting will be held in Brussels the 12-13th of February 2009. It will mainly focus on the issues connected with the CNR in Skopje and AGM in Utrecht. There will be two guests from the future CNR Coordinating Team present: Marge Taivere (NR of Estonia) and Patrick Jorg (NR of Austria).
