Get involvedEuropean Youth Forum
What is European Youth Forum? The European Youth Forum (Youth Forum Jeunesse - YFJ) is made up of 96 National Youth Councils and International Non-Governmental Youth Organisations, which are federations of youth organisations in themselves. The European Commission and the Council of Europe are supporting and funding the forum directly and substantially. YFJ also aims at fostering the exchange of ideas and experience, mutual understanding, and equal rights and opportunities among young people in Europe , as well as to upholding intercultural understanding, democracy, respect, active citizenship and solidarity. The European Youth Forum brings together tens of millions of young people from all over Europe , organised in order to represent their common interests, and it stands for the biggest regional youth platform in the world. By becoming a part of YFJ, ESN joins its efforts with other European youth organizations in achieving its primary goals. It was really important for ESN to become a member of YFJ to show that ESN is a protagonist in the development of policies concerning mobility and young people's lives. Jelena Brankovic (ESN Belgrade), Davide Capecchi and Ewa Krzaklewska, will be available at yfj@esn.org to make the instances of young mobile people heard, as well as to encourage and steer ESN to enhance our effectiveness in supporting mobility. A great future is ahead for us in fostering student mobility in higher education under the principle of student helping students. Now we have a strong tool more. You can read more about the forum on www.youthforum.org 6. What's going on in Europe besides ESN?Venice calls Europe

And much more… The “European Erasmus Meeting (EEM) is the first seven days camp organized for all the Erasmus students across Europe. This event is planned to be executed in a joint venture with various University Associations across Europe, first of all the Erasmus Student Network. The purpose of EEM's events to create a contest where students coming from different countries of the European Union may share experiences and ideas, and furthermore the meeting aims transmitting an ‘European common feeling'.
