Open call for ESN secretary - closed

ESN has become a bigger, more organised and professional network without loosing its attitudes towards personal development and good-times. To keep up with the daily work and future planning a secretary is very much needed.

From 1st January 2009 the International Board is happy to welcome you to Brussels as the new ESN secretary for 6 months with the option of prolongation of another 6 months. You will be the first reference person when it comes to administrative questions regarding our organisation. Hence, you play a crucial role for the well-being and smooth operation of ESN.

Among your tasks for this job of high importance are:

  • Office management (Phone, office order, logistics etc.)
  • Preparation and minuting the Board meetings
  • Responsible for post/mail
  • Travel management
  • Working with the Communications responsible, for the development, implementation and execution of media tools
  • Other duties may be assigned as required. Additionally, you can take responsibility over a project.

You should have good knowledge of spoken and written English as well as a functional command of spoken French. Your working style can be described as precise, organised, and task-oriented. In the position as secretary, you need to deal with uncertainties and show a high level of patience. Well developed computer skills (MS Office, basic HTML and preferably OpenOffice) are more than welcome. For your work for ESN International you should have international experience and a sound understanding of ESN. Work experience is desired but not a must.

Your salary will meet Belgium requirements and a room in the ESN office will be provided against a rent of EUR 300.00 plus expenses.
