AEGEE and ESN together

After several dinners in the AEGEE house and ESN house, on 17th July 2007, Giorgio (ESN President) and Theijs (AEGEE President) signed the letter of partnership you find here.
The aim of this partnership is not to have just a nice paper to show around and nice logos to put on our websites, but the intention is to really start a cooperation between our two associations at any level.
We know that especially at local level, there were and in some places there are still some troubles between ESN sections and AEGEE antennas.
We believe that this is absolutely against the spirit of our associations, which both have similar aims, goals and share the same common values. And to proof this already in many locals, ESN sections and AEGEE antennas are actively collaborating and somewhere are even composed by the same people.
Moreover positive collaboration have been seen during our main projects this year.
With this new partnership ESN and AEGEE locals are invited to promote the creation of the other where only one of the two partners is present, this can lead to a substantial growth of both networks.
We believe this is the starting point for a very positive and fruitful collaboration and I am looking forward for the great achievements that ESN and AEGEE will reach together.
