This year, the WEP will take place in Groningen, The Netherlands! As a typical Dutch student city with more than 4000 international students a year Groningen is thé place to host the WEP! Groningen is the Metropolis of the North and one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands. Inhabited by more than 50.000 students the city has a relaxed vibe and lots of bars.

The official kick off takes place on Thursday November 18th. The program of the event includes plenary sessions, workshops, cultural activities, comedy, a pub crawl, an international theme party and of course the famous Eurodinner! Included in the participation fee of €90,- are 4 nights accommodation, all breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The WEP is a good combination of interesting, useful workshops during the day and fun, social activities in the evening. It is the perfect opportunity to share your ESN experiences and meet your fellow ESN colleagues!

Who can apply?
The WEP is originally meant for the Western European countries (Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, UK, Ireland and The Netherlands). However, if you're from a section of another country you can also apply, but we might have to put you on a waiting list first. We have spots for 120 participants. Per section two delegates are allowed at first. If you would like to come with more than 2 delegates from your section you can (and we recommend you to!) sign up with more delegates, but they will be put on a waiting list first. Two people can come for sure. Whether you can come with more delegates depends on how many people will sign up. We want to give every section a chance to come, so each country will be represented and we will have a lot of different participants. But we do recommend you to sign up with more people if you all want to come, and we will inform you later if we can sign up more people.
