Seat of one of the oldest European universities (1222), Padova is a merry place with an impressive ratio between students (over 60'000) and other random people (around 200'000, but they usually stay at home so you won't see them).

Famous as “the city near Venice I heard about but didn't visit 'cause I had no time”, Padova is actually full of great surprises and architectural gems, ranging from the fantastic Scrovegni chapel painted by Giotto to Prato della Valle, a masterpiece of Venetian urban art. Several million pilgrims go to St. Anthony's to pray and see his tongue, while others prefer the oldest botanical garden in the world (UNESCO heritage) where you can check if the first European magnolia is still healthy – and it is.

Guided by the prestigious ESN Padova crew (4 Board Members in the last 5 years!) you will experience 5 days and 4 nights of meetings, fun and culture, including an active workshop in Venice.
