National Board Meeting
Thursday, February 3
Arrivals during the whole day, pick up service available all day

• Snacks and social programme available for those arriving early, e.g. guided visits to the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, the most popular sight in Helsinki.
• 2pm Day sightseeing
• 5pm Night sightseeing: Helsinki looks very different during the day and after dusk, so people can choose either to take part on one or both tours, depending on when their arrive.
  

• 8pm Dinner: The first dinner will be a buffet so people can mingle and catch up.
• 11pm ESN Party at Cuba! Our local ESN Parties are always on Thursdays, so people can get to know the locals and the Helsinki exchange students. Cuba! has the best mojitos in Helsinki and a free drinks voucher will be given to all NBM participants.

Friday, February 4

• 8am Breakfast
• 9am Plenary sessions
• Coffee break. Coffee and tea will be available during all plenary sessions.
• 1pm Lunch. A quick lunch means more time to eat chocolate, see below
• 1.30pm Visit to Fazer Chocolate Factory. At the chocolate factory people can eat as much chocolate as they like after a tour of the factory and will also get a surprise package to take home. Fazer chocolate is the pride and joy of the Finns.
• 4.30pm Plenary sessions
• 6.30pm Plenary sessions end
• 8pm Dinner + preparations for Eurodinner
• 9pm Eurodinner
• 11pm Pub Crawl in Kallio. Kallio is the part of town where both the best and worst pubs are. We will organise a pub crawl just like the ones organised by the Finnish student unions: based on the amount of drinks you consume and number of stamps you collect on your Pub Crawl Pass, you will be awarded the degree of ESN Undergraduate, Graduate, Postgraduate, Doctor or Professor. Cue a lot of fun and crawling to the afterparty afterwards.

Saturday, February 5

• 8pm Cocktails
• 9pm Sitsit Dinner Party.
  Sitsit is a Swedish/Finnish dinner party popular with all student organisations. During the evening a three-course meal is served and drinking songs are sung. Anyone can propose a song and the proposing might include a short speech. After each song people will have a drink. Sitsit range from white tie to smart casual dinners, only the singing and drinking remain the same. We might ask people to wear trousers and a shirt for gentlemen and a cocktail dress for ladies, and have also chosen a slightly dressier nightclub for the afterparty. Dinner will be served at nine. Those who arrive earlier, eight o'clock or after, can enjoy cocktails and each others' company. We will also invite Finnish and international students to the Sitsit.
