The ESN Council of National Delegates (CND) is constituted of all the National Representatives (NR) and two additional delegates from each country. The delegates should preferably be national board members but it is up to the National Platforms to appoint them. The CND meets once a year in the midterm between two AGMs.
The CND is an extended CNR (Council of National Representatives), where only one delegate per country (NR) attends the meeting.
During the year, the CNR acts as a substitute for the AGM on budgetary, strategic and policy matters. The CNR also checks the work of the board. In total five to six CNR meetings are organised each year, in which NRs discuss and vote on matters of importance between the local and the international levels such as the ESN Card, the AGM, Regional Platforms, actions of the local level, strength of the network, promotion of ESN, approval of new sections/countries and many more.
The delegates are encouraged to get to know new people, exchange common experiences among each other, and conduct intense issue related discussions and to experience the amenities and qualities of our region.
