General information

It is your possibility to show your amazing section to the whole network! 

Each month you can take part in the newest project of ESN International – SECTION IN THE SPOTLIGHT!

We will choose and honour on a monthly basis ESN sections for their active involvement and excellent work for international students, which could be used as best practice examples in the network. 

If you want to show off your section to the whole network take part and just fill in the online form which will be available from 1st till 20th day of every month. The chosen section will be announced on the 1st of every next month.

How to take part?

It is easy! Just fill in the application form, which is in the style of a motivation letter showing your ESN success story. It should contain the following information:

• General information
• Description of your team
• Activities you organise
• Involvement in the national & international level
• Other outstanding activities, interesting facts

The story will be read carefully and evaluated by the Network & Events Committee team based on the 4 criteria and the section collected the most points will be awarded with the Section in the Spotlight title:

• ESN spirit
• Involvement of international students
• Activities:
  • Uniqueness
  • Content
  • Transferability
• Achievements in other fields

Honouring

The chosen section will not just be awarded for their amazing work in ESN with a prize, but also their success story will be published in different ways to share their experience and ideas through the whole network. The Section in the Spotlight will:

• be announced in the 1st ESN Newsletter of every month,
• be published on the official ESN homepage, and
• get a special article in the ESN magazine eXpress!
