
Section Guide will be a manual meant for the members of all ESN sections. It will contain theoretical background information combined with best practice examples from the whole network on how to manage a section. Moreover, the Section Guide will contain important information about ESN, student mobility and higher education.

The Section Guide will be published in a digital version and relevant articles will be chosen for making public in ESN Wiki. If the project will be granted with the financial support of the European Youth Foundation, printed copies will be produced and distributed to all local ESN sections.
Implementation by the project team
An open call for the core project team was launched and is open until 1st of June 2010. The core team will consist of 6 ESN members and the main project coordinator will be chosen among them.
The project team will beresponsible for collecting and combining the theoretical background information. National contact persons from all ESN member countries will be involved for providing the project team with best practice examples from their sections. Moreover, the ESN member countries will be encouraged to send their national guidebooks to the project team. In the middle phase of the project, a network-wide competition for successful practice examples on management of ESN section will be launched. Best stories will be chosen and the winners awarded!
Project timeline
The project was officially approved in December 2009 and started in spring 2010. The final version of the guidebook will be released in the beginning of 2011.
