ESNCard = membership plus discounts

The ESNCard project was born in 2004 after three years of planning. It aims to distribute a common ESNCard to ESN members and the exchange students in Europe to show their membership in the biggest community of internationally minded students.

The ESNCard is distributed exlusively by the ESN Sections or by the International Relations Offices in the Universities that joined the project. 

Having an ESNCard means having access to international, national and local advantages and discounts. To see all the discounts available to you all over Europe, check the ESNCard.org website.

Back side of the ESNCard: your sponsorship opportunity!

The purpose of the back side of the card is to provide ESN sections and countries a possibility to make local and national agreements with partners and sponsors. In addition, the national ESN logo or the section logo can be put on the back side of the card.

In connection with the Corporate Identity of ESN certain graphical and technical rules apply for the back side of the card and cannot be changed.

These are as follows:

• you cannot change the design of the ESNcards, which means no changes of the front and back side of the card other than the allowed logos of sponsors and partners
• it is not possible to cover the back side completely with custom logos, up to three individual logos can be added
• you have to provide logo files in proper format, most preferably in vector graphical format; raster graphics are also accepted if they are in high resolution (width at least 1280px) with white or transparent background

Corporate design package

Since the 1st June 2006 ESN has a new corporate identity. The logos, images, templates, and website design can be used only if you are an ESN section.

Knowledge exchange

By being a section of the network you get to meet people, who share same interests as you. ESN meetings are valueable for sharing knowledge, best practises, and pushing the quality of your section's work. 

Evaluation and survey

Every year ESN launches a survey which gives exchange students a chance to express their opinion about exchange programmes and for an ESN section to evaluate its services. The first edition of the survey collected more than 7700 answers! All ESN sections can ask for the data produced by them. By this evaluation ESN sections can learn how to improve the services they provide. Check the ESNSurvey page for more information.

Network contacts

Want to go to Copenhagen for a party? Or to Prague for a weekend with your Erasmus students? Maybe shopping and having a tasty aperitivo in Milan? Being part of the ESN Network means being welcomed all over Europe and beyond! Fellow ESNers are always keen on welcoming other ESNers!

International sponsorships

As a network of internationally minded people, ESN can gain interesting deals that allow ESN sections to collect resources to fund their activities.

ESN trainings

Members of ESN Sections can participate in internal training events organised by ESNers for ESNers: in fact, who knows ESNers' needs better that ESNers?

ESN international events

Meet members of ESN sections from all over Europe (and beyond!) at section meetings, regional and national platforms, Cultural Medley, Annual General Meetings, and other events.

Free places to some external events

ESN is often invited to participate in interesting events like students' camps, conferences, trainings, conventions and happenings. ESN sections are invited to participate in these events. VERY often ESNers are invited to participate for FREE.

PR material

Posters, T-Shirts, flags, stickers and other ESN branded merchandise showing that you are a part of ESN can be ordered.

Recognition

An ESN section is recognized and appreciated as a member of one of the biggest and best known international network of internationally minded students who are eager to help other students to succeed in their own exchange. Many universities and institutions would be happy to support a section member of ESN.

Partnerships between sections

The ESN sections are welcomed to strengthen friendship and share knowledge among each other. Section partnerships are valuable in sharing best practises and learning how other sections deal with the same issues. Read more about section partnerships here.

Help with a website

ESN can help you to easily set up a website with our own ESN Satellite? It's a website design based on Drupal designed for the needs of ESN sections.

Internships opportunities

Already many internationally minded people got internships because they belonged to an ESN section. ESN, other youth organizations, and companies might be looking for interns and ESN can help you to find the offers.
