ESN STAR Awards

Do you think that your section is the best in one of these fields? Then apply on esn.org by filling in the application form until the 5th March 2012.

The star Awards of 2012 will open within short, be patient.

The winner will be announced during the Gala Dinner of AGM Granada. The winner will get an award, a certificate and the honour of winning such a prestigous award!

Stars of ESN: Sections

STARlight 2012

The STARlight is the ESN section, which dominates in all different categories (activities, events, team, PR material, projects and more). If you apply to STARlight, you are automatically excluded from all the other awards!

STARter 2012

The STARter will be given to a new section, which was approved after the last AGM, but which is already doing a great job with their ESN work!

STARproject 2012

This Award will be awarded to the best project or activity conducted within the ESN spirit. (This can be for example an activity for PRIME, SocialErasmus, ExchangeAbility or the Welcome Days)

webSTAR 2012

The webSTAR goes to the section with the best website. *You don't need necessarily a Satellite to run as webSTAR!*

logoSTAR 2012

This will be awarded to the section with the best logo. Despite the name, thats not all it is about, it is also about your PR material and the use of the Corporate Identity!

movieSTAR 2012

The movieSTAR is the award for the best promotion video, wether it is about promoting an event, your section or going on exchange - if your section made a video, this is the award to apply for!

STARland 2012

The STARland-Award is like the STARlight but for ESN countries. This award will be awarded to a country which is strong within most fields (activities, events, team, PR, sponsoring, material, projects and more) and spreads the ESN spirit in an extraordinary way. This award is not only about quantity, but of course also quality.

Eurodinner Award

STARworse 2012

We also want to have some fun during the Eurodinner, where we will award the Trash Picture Award for the best trash picture produced at an ESN events!

Stars of ESN: Alumni Awards

Don't let the title fool you, this is not an award for the alumni, but an award by the alumni!

ESN Alumni Award: Most Innovative Section Project Award

This year the ESN Alumni will award the Most Innovative Section Project Award!
Does your section do something special? Something new, something no other section does? Apply for the Most Innovative Section Project Award which comes with a nice prize in the form of a grant to support your section!

Send us a description of the project, tell us why you think it is innovative and why we should choose it, maybe add a few pictures and send it to alumni@esn.org We will have a good look through all the applications and choose a winner which will be presented at the AGM in Granada!

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: 5th of March 2012 - BE patient the application will open within short

To promote different projects, activities, sections and countries the ESN Star Awards were born a few years ago and during the AGM there is a ceremony dedicated to the great work of the sections and countries.

From the February 2012 you can apply for an ESN Star Award in 8 different categories on esn.org. The competition will close on the 5th of March 2011 and after the deadline the applications will be evaluated by juries composed by committee members to choose the winners. The winners will be announced during the Gala Dinner of the AGM.
Each jury is provided with clear guidelines, criteria and point system to make the award as fair as possible. The applications will be judged on fixed criterias and graded thereafter. The application with the highest amount of points will be the winner.
