The ESN STAR Awards were born in 2008 to award the best projects, activities, sections, and countries of the ESN network. The ESN STAR Awards are annually awarded at a ceremony at the Annual General Meeting of ESN.
The STARlight is the ESN section, which dominates in all different categories (section activities, events, teambuilding, usage of PR materials, projects, and more).

The STARter is given to a new section, which was approved after the last AGM, but which is already doing a great job with their ESN work!

The STARproject is awarded to the best project or activity conducted within the ESN spirit. (This can be for example an activity for PRIME, SocialErasmus, ExchangeAbility or Welcome Days).

The webSTAR goes to the section with the best website. *You don't need necessarily a Satellite to be a webSTAR!*

The STARland is like the STARlight but for ESN countries. This award is awarded to a country which is strong within most fields (activities, events, teambuilding, PR, sponsoring, knowledge sharing, projects, and more) and spreads the ESN spirit in an extraordinary ways. This award is not only about quantity, but of course, also quality.
