Do you want to visit us?

The ESN House and the ESN Office are both located in Brussels. All ESN members can come, and everybody is welcome to drop in and see us. Of course, there are some basic rules as the main purpose of the Office and House is to provide the Board and the secretary of ESN with the best possible environment for serving the network.

So, do you wish to come? Please notify the Secretary at least 2 weeks before you wish to arrive. We will endeavour to answer your request as soon as possible and provide you with the instructions for arrival and general rules. In addition, please remember to leave your contact details with us!

How to get to the ESN House?

By plane:

If you arrive at the Brussels airport, take the train to the Central Station (and then see below)

If you arrive at Charleroi airport, take the bus to Gare du Midi/Zuid Station (and then see below)

 

By Train:

The Central station (Gare Central / Centraal Station) is the closest station,  you can take line 5 and arrive at Petillon metro stations.

If you are arrive at Gare du Midi / Zuid Station take the metro line 2 or 6 direction Simonis (Elisabeth) and then change to the line 5 (Herman-Debroux) at Arts-Loi / Kunst-Wet Metro stop, then go to the stop Petillon.

If you are arrive at Gare du Nord / Noord Station take the tram line 25 and get off at Petillon.

 

By metro:

The closest Metro station is:

  • Petillon served by line 5 (direction Herman-Debroux) - 1 min on foot

In case of emergencies, you can call the office, at +32 225 67427 during office hours or to the ESN Secretary at +32 470 354 329.

 

General Rules of the ESN House

  • The house is a non-smoking place. If you really want to smoke, please do so on the balcony or in the street.
  • Please remove your shoes after entering the house.
  • A present for the Board is always welcome
  • The individual rooms are the only private space of each Board member in a very busy house with many guests, so please respect their privacy and please knock before entering rooms!
  • We would appreciate if guests help with cooking and cleaning and make a contribution of 5€.
  • Guests are kindly asked to sign the guestbook before leaving

Overnight

The main purpose of the house is for working, so

  • Please no more than 3 guests a night.
  • Please no more than 3 nights per guest.

What you should bring

  • A sleeping bag
  • A towel 
  • A big smile!
