The International Committee for Education (also known as ICE3), aims to to make ESN an expert and opinion leader in the international Higher Education, by:
The Committee consists of the President of ESN AISBL; the Chairing Team, composed of the main Chair and two Vice-Chairs, all three elected by the Council of National Representatives; the regular members and an advisory team made of Alumni members. You can see all the members on Galaxy. To work as efficiently as possible, each project has one member in charge and a few more members involved in its implementation.
This group represents ESN's official position in policy-making process. It’s mainly focused on reactions to EU consultations, issues and other initiatives in the European Higher Education Area.
The biggest and most successful projects of ESN is a survey that explores the current issues connected to academic and non-academic mobility.
Aims to build expertise and advocacy potential for mobility and education, thus implement a role at the national level responsible for the 2-ways strategy.
The group was responsible for creating the guide book to support the implementation of the flagship project.

Is a project that aims to train and develop the skills and competences of ESN members and Erasmus students in the future with the help of a pool of trainers established within ESN.
The so-called Education Journalists enjoy both writing and international education policies. They aim to bring these issues closer to the general public, by the ICE newsletter, releasing articles at eXpress magazine, creating leaflets and other types of promotional tools in various platforms.
Apart from the development of the above projects, the ICE is involved in following up the development of education policies and updating its members on all the recent issues.
The Committee works in close collaboration with the ESN liaison officers to the European Youth Forum (YFJ), the Council of Europe (CoE), the European Civil Society Platform for Lifelong Learning (EUCIS-LLL) and the Informal Forum of International Student Organisations (IFISO). They attend external meetings regularly and report back to the Committee on what is going on and they represent ESN in above mentioned platforms. They also prepare the summary of the Courier, distributed to ICE3 and ComCom.
