Nowadays, the Erasmus Programme is one of the most famous European student mobility programmes. More than 2 millions people already used this to study abroad. Created in 1987, Erasmus is now celebrating its 25th anniversary.
For this occasion, ESN France wants 2012 to be a real “mobility” year. Thus, ESN France is launching its project “25 Years Erasmus”. The ESN team will distribute nationally an attractive document called “Passport Erasmus International” to French students with the purpose to help them to find the good information about their future mobility projects.
To insure this goal and distribute the document, ESN France organizes a “Tour de France” from the 28th of February to the 17th of March. 3 weeks on the French roads to promote mobility towards a few conferences, testimonies, international dinners and so on. 21 days in the course of which the association will visit 25 cities where celebrations will involve high school and Higher Education students managed by local ESN associations.
On the main official partners that are supporting the project, we can quote the national agency Europe-Education-Formation-France, the several universities of the cities that will be visited, the International Relations Services, the Europe Direct Information Centre and the Youth Regional Information Centre (CRIJ). And last but not least, this project could not have another godfather than Cécric Klapisch, director of “L’auberge Espagnol”, a French famous film that allowed to many student to actually know the Erasmus mobility programme.
To have more information about the project and the “Erasmus Tour”, dates and destinations are available in French on the Internet Web site of ESN France: www.ixesn.fr tab « 25 ans Erasmus ».
