SocialErasmus: National Coordinators wanted!

Wed, 03/11/2010 - 00:07 — Anonymous

ESN is looking for National Coordinators for the Project SocialErasmus. The positions are on a volunteer basis, the selection is carried out by National Boards/Platforms.

What is SocialErasmus? SocialErasmus is an idea developed by ESN Poland to involve Erasmus in the local community. This project aims to help the local communities to integrate exchange students through volunteering opportunities.

SocialErasmus focuses mainly on 3 pillars:

  • Charity
  • Education
  • Environment

An initiative such as SocialErasmus helps ESN improving its visibility( and recognition), the sections to organize original activities and it enriches the exchange experience.

ESN is looking for National Coordinators of this project, any interested applicants is invited to contact the National Representative. The deadline is November, 30th 2010.

What do we want from a national coordinator?

  • He/She has to be able to reach and motivate the sections;
  • He/She needs to be motivated to do the bridge between the sections and the Social Erasmus Coordinators, working with both sides;
  • He/She has to be reachable( it should be easy to reach that person);

What do you win in being a national coordinator?

  • CV improvement;
  • Cultural and Social knowledge;
  • Experience and non-formal education

For any question, feel free to contact the coordinators, Paulo and Katerina: socialerasmus@esn.org
