Second ESN Alumni Prize for Knowledge Transfer

Knowledge transfer is an area which is naturally related to the status / nature of alumni – connecting the past and the present, connecting the voluntary student organization with professional experience from various fields. Therefore the ESN Alumni initiated "The Alumni prize for knowledge transfer", the prize given by alumni to active ESNers focused on knowledge transfer.

ESN is a student voluntary organization. Like most student organizations, one of its natural features is quick rotation of people – people who after all are the organization. They use their skills, knowledge, and experience in order to make ESN activities successful. If the knowledge they use is not shared among generations or different locations the quality of services ESN can provide will not increase. Therefore, knowledge transfer is something that definitely should be prized.

This year there were three candidates for the prize:

• Martin Sinal from ESN Pilsen , ESN Czech Republic
• ESN Belgium (Alberto Pena, its webmaster)
• ESN Riga.

And the winner is .... Martin Sinal for its project "Establishing of knowledge management at national level". He was awarded this prize for his systematic  approach which not only focuses on sharing knowledge among sections but also  for his idea of creation of an information system for sections. ESN Alumni hope that he will successfuly continue with this idea and spread not only among Czech sections but also other sections of ESN.

ESN Alumni and will award the winner with 150 EUR.
