Ride for your Rights - It's time to (ex)change your life!

Fri, 18/03/2011 - 11:51 — Anonymous

A special and very exciting cycling tour through 12 European countries will take place from the 3rd of July till the 15th of September. Students from all over Europe will support the idea of student mobility and strengthen a peaceful and tolerant society in Europe. Organized by Student Council of Campus Europae and ESN.

The tour is based on the "hop on-hop off" principle. You can join us for a day, a month, a week - it is up to you! In all larger cities the tour will stop for a day to allow time for city sightseeing and/or educational workshops and meetings with important people from public life.

Campus Europae and ESN teams will make sure that after each cycling stage everyone will have some time for having fun and for getting to know the city. Soon a webpage will be available, with exact route, planned workshops and meetings.

Students (and anyone else who wants to join) will cycle from Serbia to Russia, riding through Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland in July, August and September 2011.

The aim is to support student mobility and to raise awareness of all obstacles which hinder young people to study and live wherever they want in Europe.
