Open call: Video production team for SocialErasmus (Short deadline)

Open Call for Video Crew    

 ****Application deadline 13th of April 2012****
We are looking for a two person video crew, to plan, record and edit a professional high quality promotional video for SocialErasmus. The crew will travel together with the international coordinator to three countries to attend SocialErasmus activities during SocialErasmus week 4th to 11th of May 2012 where they collect footage for the video.

Qualifications
•    You have experience with video production including pre- and post-production.
•    You have produced or co-produced video productions of high quality.
•    You are an experienced video editor and you know your way around Avid, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut and/or other professional video editing software.
•    You are creative and capable of creating interesting video storylines.
•    You know the importance of framing, light setting, and sound and you know what is needed to get high quality footage for your productions.
•    You are flexible when it comes to work-hours and you can work under pressure.
•    You respect deadlines.

Work tasks
•    Create the main concept/story line for the promotional video.
•    Production planning and management.
•    Video/sound recording on location.
•    Video/sound editing of collected footage.
•    Delivery of final product.

Requirements
•    You are free to travel from the 3rd to 12th of May 2012.
•    You can have a production plan and video concept ready by the 25th of April 2012.
•    You have access to a computer with the necessary software to edit the video and you can have the product ready for approval before the 25th of May 2012.
•    You can have the final product ready before the 1st of June 2012.

Preferences
•    It is an advantage if you apply as a two-person team.
•    It is an advantage if you have your own production equipment or have access to production equipment that you can use. (There is a budget for renting equipment).

* Lump sum: The overall budget is 2.660€ - this money will cover accommodation, meals and lump sum, which is a single money payment. The size of the lump sum payment will depend on the expenditure for accommodation and meals.
