OPEN CALL: PRIME International Coordinator

ESN International is looking for the International Coordinator of P.R.I.M.E. 2010

Job Position: PRIME Coordinator/ Secretary

Description: The Coordinator will develop the plan of action for PRIME 2010. He/She will recruit volunteers from across the ESN Sections (who will compose the PRIME 2010 team and will be responsible for the research and collection data, contact to the universities, National Agencies and students). The Coordinator will be employed and working full time in order to manage and coordinate the project, provide motivation, assistance and guidance to local coordinators so that they could contribute to their utmost. He/She will be in charge of the project as a whole, coordinate the team of volunteers and keep the contact with the associate partners and other stakeholders. His/Her main tasks will include:

- Coordinaton and monitoring of the project and all its phases in order to reach successful development and realisation
- Internal and external communication (website, promotion of the project etc)
- Diligent management of the budget to ensure respect to the grant agreement and justified expenses

The coordinator will have to:

- Draft the plan of action and distribute the tasks to the local and national coordinators and research team
- Prepare guidelines for organising local conferences
- Choose the locations of local conferences in collaboration with local/national coordinators
- Monitor the progress of the deliverables (according to the Grant)
- Collect reports and feedback and prepare the final report of the project
- Manage the website and supervise the production of the video guide, the student guidebook and the final report and conference

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 38 hours a week.
Working Period: from 1st November 2010 till 31st October 2011 (with possibility to extend until January 2012)

Salary: Minimum full-time salary of Begium is foreseen 



Necessary Skills: 

  • Fluent English (spoken and written) 
  • Experience in project and team management 
  • Have knowledge of statistical analysis
  • Be able to assess the qualitative parts
  • Have good writing skills
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be able to work in a team
  • Show commitment to the project
  • Financial background appreciated

Other requirements: The coordinator is required to move to Brussels and work at the ESN Office starting on the 1st of November 2010. [No accommodation is provided.]
