Open call: International Events 2012/2013 (CLOSED)

We are looking for Organisation Committees (OC) for the International ESN Events for 2012/2013 to be elected at the AGM 2012 in Granada, Spain. We are looking for motivated OCs for the following events!

Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2013 - The Annual General Meeting is the general assembly of ESN and thus, the highest decision making body in ESN. It is composed of all the official ESN section representatives of the member countries. The AGM takes place once a year, usually in March or April and lasts from Thursday - Monday. The number of participants should be 550.

Council of National Delegates (CND) 2012 - A Council of National Delegates Meeting is the meeting of the Board of ESN with the Council of National Delegates consisting of all the NRs and two additional national delegates (NDs) from each ESN member country. The main aim of the event is to integrate all the ESN levels better and to show to all the NDs the work of the CNR and Board. The meeting usually takes place in December and the number of participants should be around 120.

Regional Platforms (RP) 2012 - Regional Platforms are annual ESN events taking place in five different regions of Europe with the aim to give section members from the certain region the possibility to share knowledge, cooperate and get informed about ESN International topics. The RPs usually take place during October or November and last from Thursday - Sunday. The number of participants depends on the RP, is usually around 80. The member countries of ESN are divided into the following regions:

• Central European Platform - CEP 2012 to be elected at the AGM
• South Western European Platform - SWEP 2012 OC to be elected at the AGM
• South Eastern European Platform - SEEP 2012 OC to be elected at the AGM
• Western European Platform - WEP 2012 OC to be elected at the AGM
• Nothern European Platform - NEP 2012 was elected at the NEP 2011 and the elected OC is from Tallinn, Estonia.

Cultural Medley (CM) 2012 - The Cultural Medley is an annual cultural event in which an ESN section, a city of a country presents itself culturally to the rest of ESN through many exciting and cultural activities. As the CM is meant to be a leisure time event, there are no plenary sessions or other working sessions. The Cultural Medley takes place in summer and is elected by the CNR, usually at the Pre-CNR meeting before the AGM. The number of participants should be around 50-80.

In order to apply for one of the above mentioned events, please send a completed application form (see attachment) to vicepresident@esn.org. The deadline to send in your applications is the 20th February 2012. The OC candidates for all the events will have time to present their candidacy in front of the AGM and can be asked questions by the participants. Please bear in mind that no additional AGM places are given to OC candidates.
