Tue, 31/01/2012 - 17:16 — Anonymous

ESN International is hereby launching the open call for the positions of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Communication Manager and Web Projects Administrator of the International Board 2012/2013 to be elected at the AGM 2012 in Granada.

The Board of ESN International consists of 5 elected positions :

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Communication Manager
  • Web Project Administrator

The Board is seated permanently in Brussels – hence its 5 members live and work for a period of one  year full time for ESN on a voluntary basis. ESN is a very dynamic organization where a lot of things,  projects and events are  happening  – thus, the work load is quite high and the tasks numerous.  Therefore, the Board is supported by 2 additional people  – two employed secretaries, who  work  together with the Board in Brussels.

All candidates must:

  • Be a member of an ESN section
  • Hand in a written application for a position to the International Board of ESN at least 30 days before the first day of the AGM
  • Have a recommendation from their NP. This needs to be proven by a recommendation letter, signed by at least 50% of the NP sections present at the AGM or at least 50% of all sections present at the relevant NP. This recommendation letter must contain the information that the candidate was present at the NP. The recommendation letter will have to be handed in to the AGM Chair.
  • Present themselves in front of the AGM and be present during the election process. Be aware that there are no additional places for candidates.

Please find attached as well the Job and Task description of the Board and the individual positions. If you have any question, feel free to ask them or write to vicepresident@esn.org.
