Open call for a Liaison Officer to EUCIS-LLL

ESN International opens a call for a new Liaison Officer to EUCIS-LLL. 

The European Civil Society Platform on Lifelong Learning (EUCIS-LLL) brings together 24 European networks working in education and training. Together, they cover all sectors of education and training including networks for higher education, vocational education and training, adult education and popular education; networks for students, school heads, parents, HRD professionals, teachers and trainers.

ESN is a member of this umbrella organisation since March 2011. EUCIS-LLL is a key organisation for ESN since it provides much information on the work of the European Commission and reacts as a key stakeholder to its proposals.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English – very good oral and written skills
• Interested in education 
• At least 6 months experience in ESN
• Good knowledge of ESN’s positions and ESN’s expertise linked to publications such as ESNSurvey and PRIME.
• Motivation to contribute to the good collaboration between ESN and EUCIS-LLL and to show to EUCIS-LLL that ESN is one of its key organisations

Tasks:

• Attend around 3 meetings per year, 2-3 in Brussels and EUCIS-LLL’s General Assembly (in Leuven in 2012). Participate on behalf of ESN and give ESN’s input during these meetings.
• React to EUCIS-LLL’s position papers and give ESN’s input
• Stay informed on what’s going on in/ and the opinion of ESN
• Report to the Board

Open call for a Liaison Officer to IFISO

ESN International opens a call for a new Liaison Officer to IFISO. 

IFISO standing for Informal Forum of International Student Organisations is an informal platform for International Student Organisations. Currently IFISO consists of 27 organisations within different sectors. It’s a great place for the start of collaborations among the organisations, common projects and sharing best practises. ESN has been a member for years and has been actively taking part.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge about ESN and its structure
• Good level of English
• Ability to express an opinion
• Knowledge about other Student Organisation is preferred

Tasks:

• Attend 2 meetings a year (first one in April/May 2012)
• Help with preparations for the next meeting hosted by ESN
• Follow the IFISO mailing list 
• Stay informed on what’s going on in/ and the opinion of ESN
• Actively express the opinion of ESN at meeting and in the mailing list
• Report to the Board
