ESN Finland gets new National Board

Couple of weeks ago ESN Finland had its fall National Platform on the shore of Saimaa Lake in Lappeenranta.

This biannual statutory meeting was held from 26th to 28th October, 2012.  The meeting was attended by over 40 participants.

During the weekend we talked about a lot of ESN related things, among them:

• Newbie /oldie session (ESN structure, ESN Finland, communication, ESN Committees, etc)
• ESN Finland national event discussion
• ESN Finland board update
• Section presentations
• Partnership updates 
• Board candidate presentations
• Timetravels presentation
• Workshops (IT Tools, Communication, Section finances, Event organizing, Section management and leadership, ESN International)
• International projects (ExchangeAbility, SocialErasmus, Flagship Project..)
• Updates of the international partners
• Pirates of the Baltic Sea
• Meet your colleagues session
• 25th anniversary of Erasmus in Finland
• Erasmus in Schools (presentation by Katja Tuokko, national coordinator of EiS from Eurooppalainen Suomi ry)
• Small sessions (NEP, Pirates of the Baltic Sea)

One of the most important part of the agenda were the elections of our new National Board!

And the new National Board of ESN Finland for year 2013 is:

• President: Salha Hanna (ESN HYY Helsinki)
• Vice President: Henna Peltoniemi (ESN Lappeenranta)
• National Representative: Emma Koskinen (ESN Uni Turku)
• Treasurer: Bianca Beyer (ESN OYY Oulu)
• National Section Coordinator: Jutta Pietiläinen (ESN HYY Helsinki)
• Webmaster: Mikael Skrabb (ESN Helga)
