Even though my mandate will be over soon, I'm still working for esn! :) (I wonder if I'll ever finish...)

so here is it:

Do you want to make the ESN Webradio?

The PR and Communication working group is looking for webradio teamers.

ESN is diversifying its communication tools: after the Galaxy (plus Identity) Supernova, and the Wiki, we are now about to launch a webradio.

Extra Finnish NP successfully over

Mon, 2008-04-28 17:10

Today the ESN-sections of Finland had an extra National Platform meeting electronically. Nine sections out of 14 were present or represented, and the meeting went very well in general. The NP approved two new sections; hence ESN Finland proudly presents ESN Lapland (Rovaniemi) and ESN Metka (Helsinki)! The sections ESN Hamok and ESN Kolmirauta wanted to resign because their universities of applied sciences will stop existing and this was also approved.

As presented at AGM in Besançon, there is this idea of having several EVS Volunteers going from one section to another. Interested? Good, so let's get started.
Before we can apply for money from the European Commission to send ESN members from one section to another, there are some steps required before! Read more below and follow these to make a great project happening.

Alumni inside

Tue, 2008-03-11 01:06

During the Alumni meeting in Brussels last month during a speech somebody said: towards who this effort will be? And somebody else answered: look at the name of the association! This made me think that when I came into ESN I didn't do the Erasmus and I wasn't anymore a Student, therefore I got only the Network, probably I'm an Alumny since the beginning, but that's not bad at all

Alumni in Supernova

Sun, 2008-03-09 19:24

A group of active and brilliant guys wants to build the ESN Alumni Network.

While this isn't the first attempt at it, there are high chances that it will be the last one: I really hope that ESN Alumni will finally be established this time.

So the ESN Webteam and the ESN Board decided to host this attempt on Supernova... because everyone will be an ESN Alumnus sooner or later!

YOURCE Conference: another lost webteam lost story...

Mon, 2008-02-04 10:40

The 2nd YOURCE Conference was held in Copenhagen from 16th to 21st of October 2007. The main aim of the conference was to collect and to share best practices regarding online youth information using web 2.0 tools.

The conference was managed using an "open space" approach where the participants had the possibility to propose and conduct workshops. The ESN webteam presented the ESN Galaxy and ESN Identity to other participants and our approach in supporting geographically distributed networks was highly appreciated by them.

My Blog?

Fri, 2008-02-01 14:01

Having logged in to vote on the ESN treasure hunt and stumbled across something called "My blog". Wanted to wait for the guidelines on how and what to publish on Supernova before starting my activities here. Promised months ago this document is still missing and I guess it will never arrive. Things are easily forgotten in ESN and when you look at the list of decisions we made during CNR meetings one will easily recognize that we have great ideas. But when it comes to realising them it is either done badly or never at all.
